Create Space

Support

The Create Space is an unsupervised space, and library staff are not able to provide assistance or technical support for patrons using the equipment.

For most equipment you must provide your own supplies, but KFPL provides 3D printer filament for a fee on a sliding scale, and our Friends of the Library sell emergency sewing kits and USB drives at the branch. Please see individual equipment pages for more information.

• 3D Printer A Prusa I3 MK3S​ is available for printing small-scale 3D printing projects.
• Button and Magnet Makers Hand-make buttons, magnets and more using our 1 ½ and 2 ¼ inch button makers.
• Cricut Maker A Cricut Maker, useful for cutting a variety of materials.
• Embroidery Machine A Janome MC 500E embroidery machine available for textile projects.
• Sewing Machine A Janome 3160 QDC sewing machine available for textile projects.
• Windows Computer A Dell PC with photo scanner and video transfer

Not Available to Reserve

• Other Equipment Some equipment is limited to program-use only.
• Pick Punch Hand-make guitar picks using our standard and jazz-style punches.
• Tool Bench A work bench equipped with basic hand tools.
